The Heidelberg Project, a world famous ‘art neighborhood’ in Detroit, that is known for using street art to provoke thought, inspire action and heal communities is now in its 28th year. It’s a two block long open-air art exhibit in the heart of an urban community on Detroit’s East Side. Tyree Guyton, founder and artistic director, uses everyday, discarded objects to create a two block area full of color, symbolism, and intrigue.
